Montessori Parenting in Colour CIC (MPIC CIC) is a community interest company dedicated to supporting parents in fostering their children’s holistic development. Using Montessori principles as a foundation, we aim to empower families to support their children’s mental health, nurture emotional well-being, and promote independence. Our approach emphasises helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Our Story
Montessori Parenting in Colour CIC was founded on the belief that every family deserves access to quality parenting resources. Cala, a Montessorian with almost 20 years of experience, was inspired by her parent workshop where minority families shared rich cultural insights, transforming the session into something deeply meaningful.
Living in South London, Cala has seen how mental health challenges affect diverse families and felt compelled to create change. She invited Meera, a fellow Montessorian, to join as a director and share her expertise while addressing challenges faced by her community. Together, they aim to break cultural barriers and empower parents to nurture confident, emotionally resilient children who thrive holistically.
